With just over a year since 2009′s The Pariah, The Parrot, The Delusion, dredg returns May 3rd with their 5th studio album, Chuckles & Mr. Squeezy. Confirmed tracks include Upon Returning, The Tent, Before it Began, Sun Goes Down, Where I’ll End Up, The Ornament, and the supposed single, The Thought of Losing You. Working with the likes of Dan the Automator (Gorillaz, Handsome Boy Modeling School, Peeping Tom), dredg seems to be heading into a more bizarrely twisted yet fun realm. As a fan of the band, I am anticipating something wonderful as usual.

What is left to say? Radiohead makes a move, the world shakes. But when Radiohead releases a new album, the world gets knocked off it’s fucking course. My thoughts on The King of Limbs? It’s short, simple, and filled with hidden genius like every other Radiohead album. Not nearly as monumental as In Rainbows, which I’m still not sick of, the album is still layered with the trademark cosmic swoops and snaps that make Radiohead the legend they are today and will continue to be.
