It’s our fourth Snob Theater and in case you haven’t heard, this month’s line-up is borderline epic. In case you’re not familiar with Snob Theater. Snob Theater is a show that features the best in the Bay Area’s indie rock bands and stand-up comedians. The small 50+ seat Dark Room Theater makes for the most intimate of performances and provides a unique and exciting atmosphere. Snob Theater is an event that showcases the comfort of the performers as they take chances in a stripped-down setting.
Our musical guests this month include folk-rock group and the one and only Sean Hayes.
TV Mike and the Scarecrowes was recently voted Band of the Month on the Deli SF, opened for Horse Feathers, and have begun making their way to become the Bay Area’s version of the Avett Brothers. A humble and and sophisticated group that is a welcome addition to the Snob Theater family.

Think for a moment about the six magnificent albums he’s released (most recently the amazing Run Wolves Run), the countless collaborations with respective artists (Jolie Holland, Aimee Mann, etc), and the years upon years of hard work and dedication toward his own style of Southern style folk and honest song-writing. Now remind yourself that this Friday you can catch Sean Hayes himself performing in an intimate environment at our own Snob Theater. If you haven’t heard of Sean Hayes, I suggest starting with Alabama Chicken and making your way to Big Black Hole and the Little Baby Star and Flowering Spade and then eventually checking out this year’s Run Wolves Run. Even if you can’t get to all those by this Friday, come out and witness this one of a kind artist. It’s going to be amazing.

Our stand-up comedians include Miles K, Loren Kraut, Coree Spencer, and Dave Thomason. Miles K is known for his dark humored blog, Clever Things to Say, Loren Kraut was a finalist in the Battle of the Bay Comedy Competition 2007 and 2009, Dave Thomason has performed at SF Sketchfest as well as the Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival, and Coree Spencer is known for her Comedian on Comedian interviews with comics like David Cross, Sarah Silverman, Maria Bamford, and the cast of Reno 911!
So come out, invite friends, and spread the word. It’s going to be a good night.
