So what exactly is DAWN 2010? Basically it’s a hip little festival in recognition of the Jewish holiday Shavuot. With special guests ranging from stand-up comedian Sandra Bernhard, writers Gary Shteyngart, Daniel Handler, and Bryan Ranere (of Laszlo fame). Did I mention the indie-pop band Fool’s Gold is going to be there? Seriously, this is making out to be a pretty stellar event. To top it off, it’s all hosted at the gorgeous California Academy of Sciences. All of this is happening from 7:30pm to midnight on the 15th of May (more info below). Tickets are $20 online and won’t be on sale at the door.
