Cincinnati, OH’s Foxy Shazam centered around irrepressible frontman Eric Nally (vocals), who, along with Loren Turner (guitar), Daisy (bass), Sky White (piano), Alex Nauth (horns), and Aaron McVeigh (drums), single-handedly resurrected the rather outlandish and unapologetic worship of old-school rock & roll bombast. With outrageous stage antics that included near seizure-like dancing, leaps and splits borrowed from David Lee Roth, and a voice that screams influences from 80s hair metal to Joey Ramone, the multi-talented Eric Nally leads the group on his epic rock circus of awesome. With their 2008 album, Introducing gaining them a cult following, their new self titled album is a cry for attention and world domination. Plus with their remarkably catchy new album, their new single Unstoppable being featured in Super Bowl XLIV and spots on this year’s Bamboozle and Lollapalooza festivals. It’s only a matter of time before these guys become a household name.
