In the year 1998, Sole joined Pedestrian to kick start the Anticon label powerhouse you know today. Years later Sole took the underground by storm with an undeniable stage presence and his critically acclaimed albums, particularly the amazing Selling Live Water. The impact was unquestionable and that next year Sole solidified his place amongst the independent hip hop elite with both his respected label and his impressive body of work.
This time around, Sole is ready to take the world by storm with Sole & the Skyrider Band. After already redefining the scene with their debut in 2007, Sole along with the Skyrider Band, Bud Berning (producer), John Wagner (drums), and William Ryan Fritch (multi-instrumentalist), along with guests like Markus Acher from 13 & God and The Notwist, present the long awaited sophomore full-length album Plastique. It’s as imaginative, experimental, diverse and genre-defying as ever, but what did you expect?
