This is something that I have been working on for about 6 months now. This is the kind of show I always wanted to happen in the Bay Area; mainly because we have an amazing stand-up comedy scene and an ever blooming music scene with an immense amount of potential. I will be hosting this show monthly and while I can’t tell you who’s on board for the future just yet, let’s just say we’ll be having more musical ‘Slices’ of the Bay Area in the future
Ladies and gentlemen I give you, Snob Theater.
Snob Theater is a small, all ages show offering intimate performances by musical artists and comedians. There are probably less than 50 seats in the club. Otherwise, you can stand in the back by the bar. Online tickets are $10 and door prices are $15, sometimes more if we have special guests. So buy tickets online. The artists get the full attention here, and it makes for a most wonderful music venue.
This month’s show will be Thursday April 8th at The Dark Room at 2263 Mission Street in San Francisco. Our comics are IFC’s Mary Van Note, the wonderful Emily Heller, and Bay Area favorites Natasha Muse and Jules Posner. Our musical guests include Dave Smallen, who performed at this year’s Noise Pop Festival and the amazing Birdmonster. Both artists will be performing acoustic sets.
I am extremely excited about this and really hope you come out and witness this amazing line-up.
