I constantly cringe when people classify bands like Brand New and Glassjaw as ‘emo’ bands. Both acts have worked very hard at eliminating that label and forming their own signature sound that has been replicated a thousand times over. Now finally both bands come together in a monster of a tour that is coming to a city near you. While there is no Bay Area date yet, one can only hope the tour will make a West Coast appearance. With both bands long overdue on new albums, this will be an exciting chance to hear some new material.
Stay tuned, this is an exciting time for true fans of post-hardcore music.
