People who know me well know I’ve been an Obama-fanatic ever since his speech at the Democratic National Convention in 2004. So to see what I saw the other day makes me feel…different. I feel pride for my country. I don’t think I have really felt that way in a long long time. I sense a new era coming on and I hope you all are prepared, American and non-American. I know I’m ready and SUPER FUCKIN’ EXCITED!

Saul Williams just emailed me this new song and a short poem. Basically saying we’re not done quite yet…lets get to work people!

We have overcome.

Except those of us now in Gaza. Except those of us whom police kill. Except those of us who are suspects. Except those of us whom the church hate. Except those of us damned to taste good. Except those of us held by fate. We are meeting in the capitol. Word is, freedom will not wait.
