So last year Far reunited and I thought it couldn’t get any better than that. Then I get an email from a friend and it’s my other favorite band, Sunny Day Real Estate reuniting. Someone pinch me….
Here’ s the official report. Basically the band has been rehearsing songs for the past few months and are confident enough to take them on the road once again. The best part about this reunion (their 3rd I believe), is that none of these guys have lost their “mojo” if you will. All members are still on their game and Jeremy Enigk, if you haven’t already heard his new record (OK Bear), can still carry a tune. The band will visit The Fillmore on the 13th of October and the pre-sale will be at 10AM Pacific on the 26th of June. I am listening to ‘How It Feels to Be Something On’ as I write this…I am so happy.
