Known as “The little big band with the strong back and supple/stubborn heart,” Poi Dog Pondering have been rocking for over 25 years now. From traveling street performers to the hell that is major label limbo, PDP have seen the music world as a whole and have emerged wiser and more talented than ever. Impossible to pick one genre, or even three to classify the band, PDP make gypsy soul music that is heartfelt and uplifting. In addition, singer/guitarist Frank Orrall is also a touring member of electronic trailblazers Thievery Corporation.
